When compress big count of files in many folders (like graphics from Factorio game (7000+ pngs) or something) - when started - pinga is working about 20sec then freezing with no cpu load. But it (much slowly) works if sets to use at background.

I select lossless compression, start work on e.g. 2000 files, after X amount of files progress stops.

The problem was absent in some older 0.5x versions.

No link with "evidences" because how to prove that?

Pingo seems to be unaffected.
Pinga does not show what file it stopped at, so I wonder how to determine which file it was.

I have some general suspicion, that it may not be because of some PNG files, but pinga may have problem with many files in general. But only PNG ones (no JPG anyway).

So, I managed pingo to stall as well...

I am completely unable to pinpoint a problematic file. No verbose info (which file is being processed actually), no log, no nothing.
One encoding stopped at 8%, another on at 45%, many at 98%.
I tried to hunt down a problematic file by using nirsoft's app to change date/time and set all three of time types to 2000/01/01 00:00. Then I tried to optimize and encounter the stall. Then I checked on which file the changes stopped.

I also tried to divide the list into smaller parts until only problematic file is left.

And guess what? There is no problematic file. In case I divide the list into smaller lists, all files are optimized.

unzip it, and run pinga at \data\base\graphics  folder
at extreme compression -- and voila - you'll get freezed!
