AVIF File (WAVIF 0.10) not compatible with Android 12

I read in different internet articles, that Android 12 native support avif files. I converted a png file to avif and I can not view the avif file under Android 12 (Samsung S10). I tried it with different other windows programs and all are not compatible. There is only one website, which can save a single file to avif with perfect compatiblity to android 12 and higher. Why it is so difficult to generate such a file?
