Unicode filenames and folder names not working properly

I am on w10 home 64-bit on latest version of pingo.

When there are asian characters in the name of a subfolder or a file, pingo cannot work on these files. The sole exception is an asian named file that you refer to directly. In this example, in the subfolder 日本語 there are files file.png and 日本語.png, and in the subfolder "file" there are also files file.png and 日本語.png.

Pingo only finds the file\file.png image with the wildcard operator as can be seen here:

G:\Storage\Kuvat\test>pingo -s8 *

  pingo - (1.19s):
  -----------------------------------------------------------------
  1 file => 0 KB - (0.00%) saved
  -----------------------------------------------------------------

Same goes for the direct reference to the "file" subfolder.

G:\Storage\Kuvat\test>pingo -s8 file

  pingo - (1.20s):
  -----------------------------------------------------------------
  1 file => 0 KB - (0.00%) saved
  -----------------------------------------------------------------

A direct reference to 日本語.png finds the file.

G:\Storage\Kuvat\test>pingo -s8 file\日本語.png file

  pingo - (1.26s):
  -----------------------------------------------------------------
  2 files => 0 KB - (0.00%) saved
  -----------------------------------------------------------------

A direct reference to the folder 日本語 does not help pingo find file.png or 日本語.png inside the folder.

G:\Storage\Kuvat\test>pingo -s8 日本語

  error:
  -----------------------------------------------------------------
  not found (or not supported)
  -----------------------------------------------------------------

A direct file reference works in the case of the 日本語 folder as well.

G:\Storage\Kuvat\test>pingo -s8 日本語\日本語.png 日本語\file.png

  pingo - (1.26s):
  -----------------------------------------------------------------
  2 files => 0 KB - (0.00%) saved
  -----------------------------------------------------------------

I have a bunch of files and folders with asian letters in their names, so it would be nice to get unicode functionality.
